Aerial Video Tour Of Superstition Mountain Golf & CC
Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club was developed by Lyle Anderson in the late 90’s. Superstition Mountain was Lyle’s third development in the Phoenix valley. His first was Desert Highlands then Desert Mountain. Both of these are in north Scottsdale. Lyle then followed with Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club located at the eastern edge of the Phoenix metro area. There is great history and folklore surrounding Superstition Mountain as the Superstition Mountain range was mined for gold during the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. There were mining camps and small settlements throughout the Superstition Mountain range during this period. There are many stories of hidden but never found gold in the caves of the Superstition Mountains.
The courses at Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club are named Prospector and Lost Gold in honor of these great stories. The two Jack Nicklaus designed golf courses provide 36 beautiful holes with continuous views of Superstition Mountain. Lyle Anderson loved the views of Superstition Mountain and that’s why he chose this property to develop the Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club. It is truly a stunning location. The members here at Superstition Mountain Country Club say they never tire of looking at the Superstition Mountain Range. At it’s peak Superstition Mountain is 5,059 feet above sea level. Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club is located at the foot at approximately 1,800 feet above sea level. The Superstition Mountain Range creates a beautiful backdrop for this amazing property. Superstition Mountain is truly panoramic and ever-changing as the sun moves across the sky. The beautiful views of Superstition Mountain are a sight to behold!
Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club is comprised of custom homesites as well as several “villages” of single dwelling and connected homes. The four villages are called Golden Eagle Village, First Water Village, Prospector Village, Greythorn Village and Club Village. Each has a different design and layout but all follow the theme of the Superstition Mountain development. Home prices at Superstition Mountain start in the low $400’s. All custom homesites at Superstition Mountain are “stepped”. This means no two side-by-side lots at Superstition Mountain are on the same level/elevation. This enhances the beauty of the community and allows every home to display its own “personality”.
Available to club members and in addition to 36 holes of Nicklaus golf; Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club boasts a beautiful, resort-style-heated swimming pool along with a wading pool and spa, 3 tennis courts (tennis and pickle ball), a basketball court, a sports club offering a variety of fitness classes (yoga, palates, water aerobics, core conditioning and more), educated and certified personal trainers, state of the art cardio machines, plyometric equipment and free weights.
As in any premier community the beauty lies in its location, architecture, layout and amenities….Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club boasts all of the above! Multiple members have previously owned homes in other upscale golf communities in the Phoenix area, but now call Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club their home!
